Instructions: For each fraction work out the smallest fraction.

Hint:
To convert a fraction to
its smallest form you need to find the largest number that can divide into
both the numerator and the denominator.
If you are unsure of how
to do this, start with your numerator and work backwards by finding a number
that divides into both the numerator and the denominator without leaving any
remainder.
Once you have found the
largest number, then simply divide both the numerator and the denominator by
this number to get the smallest simple fraction.
Knowing your number
table patters will also help
Find the largest number
pattern that has both the numerator and denominator in it.
Then divide your
numerator and the denominator by the number pattern you used.
On really big fractions,
you might need to repeat these steps again with your final answer. |
