Purpose The student is required to be able to interpret a map grid and follow
instructions to move within the grid and finally identify his position by
entering the correct co-ordinates. Functionality A grid map is displayed and the student is shown a starting point. The
associated question asks him to move several times in various directions and
provide the final grid reference of where he has ended up. Enter the co-ordinates of the final cell in the answer box and press the
‘Enter’ key to evaluate the answer and move to the next question. The final answer should have one ‘Numeric’ part and one ‘Alpha’ part to
it. Any other characters or punctuation are ignored. Keys The [Enter] key automatically proceeds to the next question.
