We can divide chance events into groups by looking at their probability. We have chosen to use the following headings.
Likely Even Chance Unlikely
If we believe that something will happen most of the time, we would say that it is likely to happen. Eg: That there are more students than teachers at school.
If we believe that something will happen almost the same amount of times as something else, then we would say that it is an even chance of happening. Eg: You toss a coin and it lands on Heads.
If we believe that something will happen only a few times, we would say that it is unlikely to happen. Eg: It rains every day of the month.
Educational software Instruction :1. Work out the chances of the event happening.
2. Press the button that accurately shows the chance.
