Aim/Questions : Add the numbers together.

Educational software theory used:

Adding Three Single Digit Numbers

When adding three single numbers, you need to create two more simple sums.

1.  Firstly add the first two numbers

2.  Then add this combined number to the last number

Eg

 3 + 6 + 8

First add the first two numbers 3 and 6 together to get 9

 3 + 6 = 9

Then add the result to the last number by adding the 9 and 8 together to get 17

   9   + 8 = 17

Educational software Instruction :

1.  Add the three numbers together then type your answer into the ‘Answer Box’ provided.

2.  Press ‘Enter’ when you have finished.

Click on the ‘Wording’ check box if you want the sum written in a sentence.
