Description : Work out the area shaded by tiles. Each tile represents 1 square m. No half tiles.

To work out the amount the shaded area represents, you need to count up how many tiles are shaded blue.

 

Remember that if a tile is 2square meters and we have 3 of them, then the sum that we need to solve is 3x2=6 square meters of tiled area.
