Description : Find a missing multiplier using multiples from possible number sets

Aim/Questions : Work out the missing part.

Educational software theory used:

Missing Part In Multiplication Sums

To work out the missing part of a sum it is easier if you rearrange the sum by using your understanding of simple maths facts.

For example our maths facts show that

2 x 3 = 6 and therefore 6 ÷ 3 = 2

We can use this understanding to rearrange sums to make them easier to solve.

For example

2 x ? = 6   is the same as

6 ÷ 2 = ?

Rearranging the sum with the missing part at the end, can make the sum easier to solve.

Educational software Instruction :

1.  Work out the missing part then type your answer into the ‘Answer Box’ provided.

2.  Press ‘Enter’ when you have finished.

You can change the number sets used to concentrate on specific patterns.
